STARTERS

  • Soup of the day, crusty bread and butter. 

  • Breaded scampi, crusty bread, garnish, house tartare sauce, lemon. 

  • Mushroom, parmesan, garlic in a creamy sauce, on toasted bread, topped with rocket, pine nuts, pomegranate molasses. 

  • Black pudding, tomato and egg stack with pepper cream sauce. 

MAINS

  • Vegan curry of the day. House home-made curry packed with fresh fragrant herbs and spices, basmati lemon rice, flatbread and chutney. 

  • Homemade proper pie of the day, served with rich gravy, mash or chunky chips, garden peas or mushy peas. 

  • British white sustainably sourced fresh fish, local ale batter, hand cut chips, peas and lemon. 

  • Breaded Whitby scampi, hand cut chips, peas, lemon. 

  • House burger of the day. Please ask for details. 

  • Butcher’s sausages, mustard mash, garden peas and rich gravy. 

  • 10oz steak of the day, tender stem broccoli, mushrooms, chips, beer battered onion rings and pepper cream sauce.
